Description: Photograph of conservation crop rotation. Austrian winter peas. 150 acres seeded in November 1956 for soil improvement. Good nitrogen fixation when photo was taken. An excellent growth, field has been in wheat for several years and with a wheat crop to planted in 1957. Seeding rate is about 20 pounds per acre. Seed inoculated. No fertilizer applied.
