Description: Photograph of members of the San Antonio Boys Club learning the latest methods in treating the injured. The 'traumatic shock sufferer' is Charles Raney. Assisting him are safety expert, Herbert LeBrescu and Mrs. Bess H. Winston, Red Cross first aider. Thousands of similar scenes have been enacted, particularly during the war years, as Americans took advantage of the free first aid courses offer by the Red Cross chapters.

Description: Photograph of a spring which will help to supply water for newly constructed concrete dam. Spring has a long history and has never been known to run dry. Area where stick is pointing is reported to have been carved out by settlers in the late 1800's to form a trough to water horses.
