Description: First St. John's church building made of stucco walls, and shingled roof. The, covered front vestibule has double front doors with arch at the top. The trees surrounding the church are leafless. The building is located at 235 W. Duffy. Information on back of photo states church had been remodeled in 1922 and again 1928 by Bishop Casady who called the church "St. John's University Church."

Description: The center aisle is viewed with wood pews on either side. A wood prayer railing is in front with cloth covered wood altar. A dossal curtain with rose window is behind the wooden altar. The organ is placed on the front left. The ceiling is wood paneled with exposed beams. On back of photo "6-25-29" Information from similar photo says window at front was in honor of Anna Heddens who was killed in Norman tornado of 1893. Window was restored after a fire in 1960's.

King Hall with East Wing Addition, University of Oklahoma

Description: Two story wood structure with wrap around porch, attached to four story brick building. The building was the residence of Dr. Goodrich at Asp and Lynn built in 1908. The family rented rooms to students at the University of Oklahoma. Bishop Brooke and American Church Building Fund bought the home for a women's dormitory. Description: Red brick building with white eaves, guttering and window frames. There is front window extension with a large wood cross. A white sign with black lettering "THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF THE HOLY APOSTLE," and asphalt parking area is in foreground. The church was formed in mid 1960's.
