Gwin, 21, Ada, was traveling east on Main street, near the business section, and failed to negotiate a curve, police Capt. Ernest Bailey said. Capt. Bailey said Gwin was driving fast when he started slamming on the brakes. The car, a 1946 model Cadillac, jumped the curb and missed hitting a tree head on by inches. Students car wound up in this condition after a Norman crash Thursday."
