Photograph of Native bluestem being combined by R. B. French. Hay harvested in early June, 1955, mostly cheat grass. Fertilized with 2 tons of agricultural limestone and 160 pounds of 0-20-0 fertilizer per acre in 1951. This field yielded approximately 200 pounds dry seed per acre. 55 acres. OK-165-3.
