Hudson, 28, of 442 SE 22, suffered internal injuries, bruises and shock. He was admitted to Mercy hospital for treatment. Maj. Clay Scheid, head of the police traffic division, termed the intersection "very dangerous" and said a department store removed an outdoor advertising sign from the location after cars struck it three times."
