Description: Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "Construction always is beautiful and A. Y. Owen, Tines staff photographer, caught some of it with a camera as these OG&E workmen brought more electric power into Oklahoma City. Above, R. E. Clinesmith, Cleo Springs and L. G. Baker, Pauls Valley, work high in the air, wih Earl Wescott, Fort Scott, Kan., working below. That tiny dot high in the air to the left also is a man. These towers are bringing power from the new Mustang station into Oklahoma City. They'll carry two 66,000-volt lines, which are attached to insulators 4 1/2 feet long and weighing about 125 pounds each. These towers are from 88 to 108 feet high, and the wire is swung in 900-foot spans through the air that high. Power is coming to the Broadway sub-station, and to the Reno Avenue switching station. The Reno station is a central distributing point for power that goes from the three stations here throughout the city, and to Ardmore, Seminole and other cities serviced by the company."
