Description: Picture of picking potatoes in the fields belonging to Robert E Holmes north of Old Mannford. These fields are now under Keystone Lake. The house in the background is that of H S Robbins. Workers were paid 10 cents per sack and were able to pick 7-10 sacks in half a day. Charlie Osterhout sewed up the sacks when full. Contour Farming

Waterway produced 400 bales of hay on most recent cutting. Javarsky says with hydraulic equipment very few problems are encountered in plowing the land.
