Tomarchin sold the chimp to the St. Louis zoo last autumn for $1,575. He broke into his cage December 21 and spirited it to Miami, Fla., but kept the chimp hidden. Here he is shown greeting his friend after surrendering him to a Miami judge. Tomarchin was indicted earlier this week in St. Louis on second degree burglary and stealing for the theft of Mr. Moke."
