Description: Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "Not all the cowboys do well in the National Finals Rodeo. Sometimes the horses do much better. This one did. An hour earlier bull No. 119 had been given a ride that would have him shaking his big ugly head long after the rest of his orney friends dozed off. Bulls never has been noted for their good lucks but this one had seemed especially mean. He was mostly black except for gray spotches and there's no telling how many hundreds of pounds he weighs because he won't stand on the scales. But that's all right. The man assigned to the show is nothing but a buildup to those tingling seconds when 48-year-old Freckles Brown locks his small legs around one of those awful monsters and then makes the bull wind up feeling like he's 48, too......Freckles always takes off his curled hat when speaking to a lady. He holds it over his chest, like the National Anthem is about to be played."
