Ruth Scantlin Roach ?

Description: This is believed to be Ruth Scantlin Roach (1896-1986). She was trick rider in the rodeo and performed for the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show and The 101 Ranch Wild West Show. She won the titles of World's Champion All Around Cowgirl, World's Champion Trick Rider, and World's Champion Girl Bronc Rider. Roach is a member of the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame. She was born Ruth Scantlin in Missouri. She married Brian Roach but later divorced. She performed under the name Ruth Roach throughout her career. Her final marriage was to Fred Salmon.
