One of the most recurring classroom tales heard on the campus at the university of Oklahoma has its central figure a chemistry professor who won a $1 bet by climbing through the transom. During the lecture, reference was made to the height and size of the transom, and one of the class wits laid down $1 that the professor couldn't climb through it. He lost in a hurry to the high delight of the class."
