Randol, owner of the Randol Hotel. Stories of life in early Ardmore are also related by her. Mrs. Milner spent many years as organist for churches in Ardmore.

He was later made vice president of the first teachers organization in Pickens Co., I. T. Mrs. Murcheson came to Indian Territory by rail from Hailville.

Maxwell, Perry

Description: Notes taken from article in Sunday Oaklahoman, Oct. 10, 1971. Maxwell came to Ardmore from Pennsylvania to work in the banking business. Local ranchers and oil men incouraged him to construct a golf course in Ardmore. Dornick Hills is a result of a lot of time and money spent by Maxwell. He built more than 60 courses in his career, including Southern Hills in Tulsa and Twin Hills in Oaklahoma City.

Scott, Ben C. , Jr.

Description: Letter to Mac McGalliard, 1983, concerning the water standpipe in Ardmore. Mr. Scott, his father, and another man painted the original lettering on the tower in 1929 for the price of $125.00. Other recollections of events during the work are told in the letter. Mr. Scott reports he was the person known as "The Human Fly" that walked a tight wire between the wings of the Hotel Ardmore and climbed the side of the Simpson Building. 4 pages, handwritten
