The native of Illinois came to Oklahoma at age 9, and worked for Standard Oil Co. for 27 years before retirement. He's never had any dancing lessons, but tap-danced his way onto the Danny Williams variety show on an OKC television station, prompting Williams to comment that Pribble would make a "great guest on the Johnny Carson show."
