The driver, Mary Louise O'Dell, 25, of NW 1, and her 4-year-old son, William Arthur O'Dell, suffered body bruises. Another passenger, Rose Mae Gaulden, 5, of, of 218 N Blackwedler, suffered a broken shoulder. Police said the car was involved in an accident with one driven by Ernest Davenport, 45, of 33 S Indiana. No charges were filed."

Caption: "Motorist Lies Beside car after Accident Near Here, A 52-year-old Edmond man, Halvert Joseph Shea, shown lying by his car, was admitted to St. Anthony hospital early Wednesday morning suffering fractured ribs and a fractured shoulder blade. Highway patrolman said Shea lost control of his car near Reno and Eastern and the vehicle swerved back and forth and across the highway before overturning and throwing him out. His condition was not believed serious."

Caption: "A MAD SCRAMBLE of five automobile greeted police Saturday night when they arrived in the 1600 block on NE 23 to investigate a collision. Officers said the vehicles were scattered for nearly one-half block down the street. Thisscene was the finale. The automobile on the right driven by Israel Gill, 64, of 1313 NE 8, collided with an automobile making a left turn, knocking it into another automobile. Gill's automobile careened across the street crashing into the vehicle shown, center, which was backing out of a parking space. The center driven by Haskell John Mack, 35, of 2701 Normandy, was pushed into the parked vehicle at the left. Gill was jailed for reckless driving by drinking. Mosshart, was injured at 4:20 A.M. when Park Department Opened Their Bombardment On The Starlings Roosting In The Trees In Civic Center, P.E. Mings, driving with Mosshart heard the shots and were on their way to investigate when their car hit the center abutment in the middle of the street. Taken to Mercy Hospital with a bad neck injury, Mosshart was admitted. Caption: "Cars Stacked Up Following Collision at City Corner, Police had a time Tuesday morning trying to figure out how a freak accident at SW 29 and Western ended up like this: One car on top of another. After investigation, officers said evidence indicated the two cars collided in the intersection, knocking the light-colored auto into a signal light post and highway sign. The car "slid" up the light post, then fell back down, landing on top of the second car. Dale Shelly Duke, 27, Newcastle, driver of the top car, suffered rib fractured and was taken to Mercy hospital. The other driver, Wayne Melvin Grimmwood, Route 2, Norman, was not injured. Grimwood, 21, was booked on a charge of reckless driving."

Description: Photograph taken for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "A 60-year-old woman was shaken up Tuesday when her station wagon collided with an auto at NW 80 and Military, jumped the curb, knocked over a fireplug and crashed into the corner of a brick house. Officer W.J. Marshall said Nell Knight Kerns, 60, of 1017 N. McKinley, driver of the station wagon, apparently escaped serious injury but was taken to Wesley Hospital for chest X - rays. Marshall said the auto involved in the collision was knocked on its side and landed upright 68 feet from the point of impact. the driver, Warner E. Keenan, 24, of 1001 N. Olie, was not injured. The station wagon also knocked down an evergreen tree at the corner of the house. residents of the house at 8010 N. Military were not at home at the time of the accident. A drainage pipe on the house was smashed ans several bricks were chipped. Scout car officer V.L. Connell checks damage to the house and station wagon."

Caption: "Only one Hurt as Collision Knocks Car 50 Feet on Side, One man received only minor injures Tuesday morning when two cars collided at SW36 and Agnew and one of them skidded 50 feet on its side. Hurt was Vernon Allison, 43, of 1552 SW 45. He was riding in the above car, driven by W.J. Pratt, 4707 S Santa Fe. the other auto was operated by Jack Ward, 909 SW 48. Firemen had to wash the streets of gasoline after the crash."

Caption: "Rough on Car but Young Driver Unscathed, Friday was a lucky day for Charles Glen Norton, 19, of 1611 Classen, although that's his car he's standing beside. After colliding with two cars in the intersection of NW 21 and Classen. Norton's car jumped the curb, knocked down a bus sign, over turned and crashed into a tree. Norton came through all that unscathed. Drivers of the other two cars were identified a s Aaron Whit Wickliffe, 60, of 2116 N Indiana, and Harriet Jane Lehner, 18, of 731 NW 20."

Caption: "FIREMEN INSPECT THE WRECKAGE OF a car which exploded and burned after a spectacular spill at Ne 13 and Lindsay Tuesday night. Two occupants of the car, Hugh McDonald, 70, and Marie Herr,53, both of 1315 W Park place, were pulled from the burning wreckage. Neither was injured seriously. Police say McDonald's car rolled end over end 105 feet it was struck in the side by a car driven by Mrs. Naomi Wallen, 31, of 4600 Nw 45 terrace. Mrs. Wallen's 5-year-old daughter, Freddie, suffered bruises."
