Description: Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "January will see the start of a new major improvement job at Capitol Hill highschool, SW 36 and Walker. Work is scheduled to begin within a few days on a $154,075 project which include paved parking, sidewalks and curbs, drainage and grading, paved access streets and driveways, and storm sewers around the campus buildings, and improvement of a 29-acre tract west of the highschool's new fieldhouse. Rea Engineering Co., consulting firm for the school job, planned the improvements. The engineers' map shows some of the work to be done by areas. Area 1 is a student parking area which will be paved, and will provide space for approximately 600 cars. Mainly for benefit of the students, this area also will be used in evenings by patrons of events at the school fieldhouse and football stadium. Also to be paved are a smaller section (area 2) for faculty and staff members, and area 3, for teachers, and other employees of the vocational shops at the highschool."
