Description: Photograph taken for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "Fire followed the collision of a gasoline truck and a wheat truck on the Northwest highway and MacArthur Blvd. Friday A 27-year-old Wayne man miraculously escaped a fiery death Friday Morning when his gasoline truck burst into flames following a collision with a wheat truck. Grover C. Teague, was traveling west on Northwest Highway when his truck collided with a semi-trailer driven by R.B. Blalock, 55, of 820 N Meuller, at intersection of Northwest highway and MacArthur. Leaford Browning, Warr Acres assistant police chief, said the Groendyke gasoline truck turned over twice and burst into flames. It traveled 269 feet, coming to rest in a small valley that was turned into a holocaust of flames, charred trees and boiling black smoke. Teague ws thrown from the cab of the truck 10 feet from the place where the tank came to rest in flames. A passerby, A.L. Garver Jr., of 3001 Emond St., and an unidentified man pulled Teague out of the oily patch to safety. Teague apparently suffered only from exposure from the heat and from the burns. Authorities of Baptist Hospital said Teague was not seriously injured. The cab of the truck continued 180 more feet down the road backwards and came to rest on the south side of the expressway."
