Caption: "ONE MAN DIED Wednesday when the new Studebaker coupe he was driving overturned several times and came to rest near the highway on NW MacArthur. The victim, Robert Donald Goodon of Newkirk who was discharged only four days ago from the army, was thrown clear of the vehicle. The car traveled more than 500 feet on the shoulder of the highway before overturning and striking a culvert. Goodon had driven to Oklahoma City to pick to the auto for a relative."

Billy F. Wynns, 18, of 2417 SE 15, passenger in another car was treated at Mercy hospital and released. Hiller's wife suffered minor bruises."
