The driver, Mary Louise O'Dell, 25, of NW 1, and her 4-year-old son, William Arthur O'Dell, suffered body bruises. Another passenger, Rose Mae Gaulden, 5, of, of 218 N Blackwedler, suffered a broken shoulder. Police said the car was involved in an accident with one driven by Ernest Davenport, 45, of 33 S Indiana. No charges were filed."

Caption: "ONE MAN DIED Wednesday when the new Studebaker coupe he was driving overturned several times and came to rest near the highway on NW MacArthur. The victim, Robert Donald Goodon of Newkirk who was discharged only four days ago from the army, was thrown clear of the vehicle. The car traveled more than 500 feet on the shoulder of the highway before overturning and striking a culvert. Goodon had driven to Oklahoma City to pick to the auto for a relative."

She was a passenger in the car above which was driven by Robert Glenn Cody, 40 of 4216 NW 28. Cody and two persons in the other car, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Culbertson, were hurt. Culbertson car exploded in flames."

Caption: "Motorist Lies Beside car after Accident Near Here, A 52-year-old Edmond man, Halvert Joseph Shea, shown lying by his car, was admitted to St. Anthony hospital early Wednesday morning suffering fractured ribs and a fractured shoulder blade. Highway patrolman said Shea lost control of his car near Reno and Eastern and the vehicle swerved back and forth and across the highway before overturning and throwing him out. His condition was not believed serious."

Officers said two boys fled from the scene after the accident."

Farino is at Mercy hospital, suffering from a fractured skull, compound fractures of the right leg and right hip and severe face lacerations. He was thrown into the windshield by the impact."

Caption: "HIT ON THREE SIDES the car at the right above was heavily damaged Friday in a freak accident at NE 24 and Oklahoma. The driver, Henry Madison Adams, 72, of 510 E Madison, was treated in Mercy hospital for cuts and bruises. Police said the car at left, driven by Elmer Elbert Ramsey, 74, of 201 NW 3, struck Adam's car in the right side, careened off and struck it again in the rear forcing Adams into a tree. Ramsey was charged with failure to yield the right of way."

The collisions occurred 1 1/2 miles north of NE 23 on Midwest Boulevard. Duke was thrown through the windshield, against the train and killed instantly. He became Oklahoma's 239th traffic fatality for the year."

Caption: "Fatal Crash Shatters Vehicles Near City Miss Sadie Miller, 22, of 511 NW 5, was killed instantly early Saturday when the 1951 sedan (shown in top picture) she was driving and a bread truck (bottom picture) sideswiped on U.S. 62 about two miles east of Eastern. Wreckers had to pull the two vehicles apart and then pry up the top of the sedan to release Miss Miller's body. Eugene Wesley Adams, 103 NE 23, driver of the truck, swerved to miss a stalled car before the two vehicles crashed. He received several broken ribs. A passenger in the sedan, Luther Blyth Jr., 25, Wilmont hotel, suffered minor injuries."
