Description:
Photograph taken for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "WAITING TO VOTE- Though polls were officially closed and darkness had fallen, about 200 persons stood in line before the ward one, precinct 47 voting place at 2109 Northwest Twenty-ninth street, at 7:30 Tuesday, banking on the election law provision that allowed them to cast their ballot if they were on hand before closing hour. It was chilly and tiresome, but they hung on until all had voted."
