Description: Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Coldest job (and maybe the most dangerous) in Oklahoma City Tuesday night faced Deputy Fire Chief John Soergel and Inspector Fred Rucker. An apparent fire in a ventilation flue drew them 33 stories up to the First National Bank Building's ice-crusted peak. They crawled on ice in beacon's glare to find the blaze apparently had flickered out. Descending, they saw flames again and went up for a second check. The "fire" proved to be an optical illusion created by steam wafting from the flue in amber light."
