Two planes hold 700 pounds of seed each and planting this farm at a rate of 140 pounds per acre they completed the 41 acres in 1 hour. Cost of services: 1 cent per pound of seed planted. Seeding done by Hains and Leger, Inc. whose manager Jack G. Hains, Jr. is the son of the Acadia Soil Conservation District supervisor. The firm also seeds grass and sprays by airplane. LA-61, 448.
