Three Rivers Museum
The Three Rivers Museum of Muskogee was established in 1989 as the dream of local historian Dorothy Ball, who was the chairman of the Muskogee Historic Preservation Commission. The museum was created to provide a location to collect, preserve, research, interpret and exhibit artifacts that illustrate the history and heritage of the Three Rivers area of Eastern Oklahoma. The Three Rivers area includes: Muskogee, Wagoner, Cherokee, McIntosh, Okmulgee, Haskell, Southern Mayes and Western Sequoyah Counties.

The Tryon Public Library is located in Tyron, Oklahoma in Lincoln County. The main library has a collection of more than 6,000 books and videos. There is a special Tryon Oklahoma Collection which includes school photographs of Tryon students from 1923 to 1997. After 1997 the school was consolidated with the school in Perkins, Oklahoma. Our Wanda Kinder-Sullivan Children's Library is located within the library. Children of all ages are encouraged to sit a while, read, and rediscover the joy of being surrounded by books. We are located at 25 South Main in Tryon, Oklahoma.
