The Chisholm
The mission of The Chisholm is to collect, preserve, and share the story of farming and ranching heritage across Oklahoma from its historical roots through contemporary issues. Located at the crossroads of the Chisholm Trail and Oklahoma’s Wheat Belt, the museum strives to engage, educate, and enrich our community and those who explore it by sharing the unique stories of individuals and communities through exhibits focusing on the traditions of farming and ranching, how these industries have evolved over time, and conservation efforts to create more sustainable practices. To accomplish this goal, we focus on the lives of individuals, families, and industries that have played a role in Oklahoma’s agricultural production.
