History

The Oklahoma Vorwärts began publication in 1900 and was printed in German by the Vorwwaerts Publishing Co. and Julius Hussy.

This paper was the “Organ des Deutschthums im westlichen Oklahoma” and consisted of eight pages measuring at 15 by 22 inches with patent inside sheets. The paper was issued each Friday and independent in politics. There is no known date as to when the Oklahoma Vorwärts ceased.
