The Hennessey Eagle
History
The Hennessey Eagle was owned by the Hennessey Publishing Company and was edited by J. E. Hutchinson. The paper was issued every Thursday and claimed to be independent in politics. The Eagle had five columns on every page and published “all the news that’s fit.” At some point during the life of the weekly, the paper was published by the Eagle Publishing Company and was managed by L. K. Thomas. The slogan was “For Hennessey, First, Last, and All the Time.”
