NOTICE: —
That your Democratic State Cent-
ral Committee, at a meeting held at
Oklahoma City on October 7, 1911,
iaB8ed the following resolution,
among others:
"Be it Resolved by the Stale Dem-
ocratic Central Committee of Okla-
homa:
"That a State Convention be calied
to meet at Oklahoma City at ten
o'clock a. m., on the 22nd day ol
February, A. D., 1912, for the pur-
pose of electing twenty (20) dele-
gates (and alternates) to the Na-
tional Democratic Convention to In
held in the year 1912; and also to
select the Presidential Electors; >le t
a member of the National Democratic
Committee, and transact such oth r
business as may properly come bo-
fore such Convention.
"That each County in the State
shall be entitled to the following
representation in said Convention —
one (1) delegate for every two hun-
dred (200), or major fraction there-
of, votes cast for the Democratic
nominee for Governor at the last
election.
"That, on Saturday, February 10,
1912, at two o'clock p. m., in the
precincts, under call of the several
County Chairmen ot the State, dele-
gates shall be elected to the several
County Conventions, under such
rules and regulations as may be pre-
scribed by the several County Com-
mitees; and that the County Conven-
tions, composed of the delegates so
elected at the Precinct Conventions,
sball meet on February 17, 1912, and
select delegates to the State Conven-
tion.
"That the Chairman of this Com-
mittee is authorized and directed to
issue a call for such Conventions,
setting out the representation that
each County is entitled to under this
Resolution, and the Secretary of the
State Committee is directed to notify
the several Chairmen and Secretar-
ies of the County Committees of the
action of this Committee in this mat-
ter."
Now, Therefore, as Chairman of
the State Democratic Central Com-
mittee. and hv virtue of the above
* Resolution. 1 hereby call a State
Democratic Convention to convene at
the Auditorium in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma, promptly at ten o'clock
a. m., on Thursday, February 2 2nd*
1912; that said Convention shall be
composed of delegates from each and
every County of this State, which
delegates shall be selected in the fol-
lowing manner: —
The Chairman of each of the Coun-
ty Central Committees of the Slate
shall call their respective Committees
to meet as early as practicable, bug-
bestion is made that they be called
to meet not later ttiau Saturday, Jan-
uary 2 7, 1912, and tix the ratio ol
representation which each piecinct
in the ounty shall have in tue Coun-
ty convention, and shall call a Con-
vention to be held in each precinct
in tbe County on February lu, 1912,
to elect the precinct delegates to the
county Convention; that each County
Convention shall be held on Satur-
day, February, 17, 1912. The re-
spective County Conventions shall
be composed of the duly elected del-
egates iroui each precinct, the num-
ber of delegates irom each precinct
oeing in accordance with the ratio
of representation tixed by the County
Committee.
The County Conventions, held on
February 17, 1912, shall elect dele-
gates to the State Convention, to
meet as above set forth, on February
22, 1912, the ratio oi lepresentaiion
of each County in said State Conven-
tion to Le one delegate (and one al-
ternate) for each two hundred (200)

cast lor the Democratic nominee for
Governor in the election ol 1910,
giving to each County the number of
delegates set opposite the name ot

if any or all the County Conven-
tions of the State desire, it or they
may elect twice as many delegates
to the btate Convention as it has ac-
cording to the above ratio of repre-
sentation, in' which event each dele-
gate from such County would be en-
titled to one-half (£) a vote.

At tbe meeting of t he County
Committee, held as above set forth,
if there be any vacancies in the mem-
bership or olficers of any Committee
in the State, the same shall be filled
at that meeting, and the Secretary of
the State Democratic Central Com-
n ittee immediately notified of such
action.
The State Democratic Convention
will elect ten (10) delegates and al-
ternates to the National Democratic
Convention, to be held at Baltimore.
Aid., on the 25 day of June, 1912.
The delegates so elected to the
State Convention from each of the
live respective Congressional Dis-
tricts of the State will elect, at the
same time and place, two delegates
and alternates from each of the five
Congressional Districts of the State,
making in all twenty (20) delegates
and alternates to be selected to the
National Convention. Said State
Convention will elect ten (10) Presi-
dential Electors, five from the state
at large, and one from each of the
live Congressional Districts of the
