SOMETHING ABOUT
CHIROPRACTIC
Twenty-six years ago the drugless method of adjusting the
human body, now known as CHIROPRACTIC was given to the
world by Doctor D. D. Palmer.
At that time, and indeed for several years following, the
science of CHIROPRACTIC was not generally considered to be
very comprehensive in the treatment of disease; that is, the aver-
age person didn't conceive the idea that by CHIROPRACTIC ad-
justings, nearly all the acute and chronic diseases could be elimi-
nated if taken in time.
Today, the whole affair has changed. People who formerly
said that "1 don't believe in it," are our staunchest supporters.
They learned that it was not a matter of "belief," that was getting
their friends well, but rather the scientific application of the prin-
ciples of CHIROPRACTIC. Today, CHIROPRACTIC has become
a fact, established in the minds ot the thinking public.
Men and women in the literary world, editors, bankers, and
men famous in the political life of the nation, men and women of
aii the social steps of the ladder, are coming to understand the
need and usefulness of CHIROPRACTIC as a health measure.
The CHIROPRACTIC schools and colleges are adding to their
curriuculum year after year. Each year sees a broader course of
study, and each year more able men are added to the faculties.
Below tJ.e three year course of .,tudy as prescribed by one
of fhe Standard CHIROPRACTIC Colleges:

In addition to the above studies, many states, including Ok-
lahoma have a State Board of CHIROPRACTIC Examiners, and
before a CHIROPRACTOR is eligible to practice in such states, he
must take the State Examination, and obtain a license which leg-
ally qualifies him to practice CHIROPRACTIC.
It is NOT the intention of this article to insinuate that CHI-
UOPRACTORS are "bewhiskered," learned people, but rather to
inform the public that we ARE making an earnest effort to prepare
ourselves to intelligently care for you when you are sick.
We are making the effort to "carry on," and will do so, just as
people learn and know more about what CHIROPRACTIC will do
in restoring men, women and children to health.
