the benefits to be derived from the

combating the boll weevil. They
were accompanied by Mr. S. L. Reed
to the Reed-Routon & Co. plantation
at Clipper, and were greatly intereat-
ed in the methods employed and re-
sults obtained by Mr. Reed there, on
which plantation there is probably the
best crop of cotton in Southwest Ar-
