Indiahoma, Nov. 9.-Whi!e with a
| posse in a chase of two men who are
'jalleged to have attempted to hold up
,the First State Bank here this after-
inoon. Merl Connor of Cache, was shot
1 from his horse as the result of battle
| between the posse and the alleged
bank robber five miles north of In-
diahoma, near the Wichita mountains
late this evening.
: The alleged robbers escaped and <
j have been chased to the edge of the1
mountains, seven miles north of In-
diahoma, where they are thought to,
be surrounded. A battle is expected'
in their capture.
The First State Bank was entered!
