delivered F. O. B. the Front, the proceeds of $15,000 in Liberty Bonds.
The air fight was almost over the and the second plane came crashing

It was the buyer of $15,000 in Lib-
erty Bonds that enabled Uncle Sam
to train this victor in that morning's
fight—a battle which sarved an artil-
lery observation plane from destruc-
tion by the Hun. The tiny scout plane
which the boy piloted was bought
with the proceeds of $10,000 in bonds.
These J>ovs need the co-operation
of big brothers over here who will
■end their fighting dollars to aid them
In their battles. They need machine
guns, each costing $200 in bonds. They
need ammunition for which a $50
bond payB for only two minutes of
filing, and they need more planes
and pilots which will be paid for with
the fighting dollars of the "Fighting
Fourth" Liberty Loan.
American, the other German, but so
high were they that the inexperienced
eye could not tell which was which.
One of them dropped out of the fight.
Whirling and dipping, for all of the
world like a leaf dropping from m
tree, it idled toward the earth. The
other came diving down in pursuit
Suddenly the falling plane straight-
ened out, the other just behind It.
With a beautiful loop the first one
turned backward and down again, the
trick putting it just above and be-
hind its pursuer. A slight sound
could be heard from below, much like
the tearing of a bit of cloth—the rat-
tle of its machine gun. The fight m

Keep Well
Do not allow the
prisons of undigested
food to accumulate in
your bowels, where they
are absorbed into your
system. Indigestion, con-
stipation, headache, bad
blood, and numerous
other troubles are bound
to follow. Keep your
system clean, as thous-
ands of others do, by
taking an occasional dose
of the old, reliable, veg-
etable, family liver medi-
cine.

Black-Draught
Mrs. W. F. Pickle, of
Rising Fawn, Ga., writes:
"We have used Thed-
ford's Black-Draught as
a family medicine. My
mother*io-law could not
take calomel as it seemed
too strong for her, so she
used Black-Draught ps a
mild laxative and liver
regulator... We use it
in the family and believe
it is the best medicine for
the liver made." Try it.
