Swollen condition of the Mucous
Membrane or lining of the Throat
and Lungs, resulting in Soreness,
Hoarseness and Severe Cough with-
out expectoration. This stage is
easy to control if treated in time.
Second, a Sliughing Off or Break-
ing Down of the Mucous Membrane
which is expectoated in a white, Jel-
ly like mucous at first but later or
after repeated attacks, becomes cata-
rrhal in its nature and the oxudate
or discharge is a dry, tenacious clot
or sab and difficult to exp9ll. This
catarrhal surface indicates that the
parts are becoming diseased aid the
Mucous Membrane' is not baing re-
establish, as with a healthy mem-
brane. This condition is very criti-
cal and by no mean should be al-
lowed to continue .
Third, a Sloughing Away or Break
Ing Down of the Main Wall Tissue
of the Lungs which is expelled in
the form of yellow Mucous and
Matter at first, latter with streaks
of Blood and finally severe Hemorr-
hage. This third stage is very a-
larmlng, the constitution is becom-
ing rapidly impaired the condition
requires great heroic and sterile
treatment both by inhaliatlon and
by the blood and the chances are
many to one for non-recovary and
especially so when the diseased Lung
has become impregnated with the
germs of Tuberculosis as it usually
is.
The latest and best known treat-
ment for Colds Coughs and Lung
Diseases in all stages is a new ren
edy called Tu-ber-cu-llne. It is claiil
ed for Tu-ber-cu-llne that it is til
most powferful Blood Sterilizer, A^
tiseptic, Germicide and Tuberculi
Stimulant known. That it will cu j
a Cold and stop the Cough within j
few hours. That it will prompt!
arrest the Breaking Down proceij
ot the Mucous Membrane and therj
fore stop that heavy expectoraticj
in the early part of the second staj|
and in the latter part overcome t'*
catarrhal condition by gtlmulntp
the glanular secretions, thus liquifij
Ing the tenacious catarrhal exudatj
allowing it to be easily expectorate J
while the Sterilizing and Heallr
process is being performed. Tuberc;f |

result in the third stage where ti
vitality of the patient has cot b!
come too completely exhausted b
even then will give quiet and refii
obtainable with no other treatment!!
