Guests Declare Sixth Winter Ball6A Success
By Margaret Harrison
• A SUCCESS" is I he
unanimous verdict on lhe
sixth Winter Bali.
(liven to benefit the
Oklahoma City Symphony
Saturday in the Skirvin
Tower Persian Room, it
was a success all the way:
Decorations — a bounty
of spring blossoms, spark-
ling fountains, white
doves in cerulean blue
cages and the brilliance of
Roman stripe table cloths.
Dinner — gourmet food
with the added pageantry
of precision - marching
waiters bringing in the
main course, a flame on
silver platters held high.
Music — Skitch Hender-
son's Orchestra for dinner
and dancing and Al liood's
Hand for cocktails.
Happy guests — and
none happier than Mrs.
John Kilpatrick jr.. chair-
man. and the other 27
members of the sponsoring
committee.
