ABC Board Chided
The ".tale supreme court ruled against the Oklahoma
Alcoholic Beverage ( onlrol Board Tuesday In a Lawton
case.
The ABC board had suspended the retail liquor li-
cense of Mareene Velma Welch on grounds she sold liq-
uor to an intoxicated person.
The superior court of Comanche County reversed the
ABC board order and, when the ABC board appealed to
the supreme court, the Comanche County court was up-
held.
The high court said the ABC board has no authority
to make rules “which make the license of a retail pack-
age store licensee subject to suspension solely because of
the acts of his employes, of which he had no knowledge
and which he neither authorized nor condoned.”

Kings Not Exchanged
The bethrothal, or ring

children in the Orthodox
faith.
"Conversion to Ortho-

choice. The Orthodox
Church does not use the
sacraments to force con-
version to the faith.”
Place Immaterial
To be valid, the mar-

son must be performed be-
fore an Orthodox priest, j
Father Karim said.
“The actual place is im-
material. It could have j
been on the ship.”.
Father Karim noted j
