and in connection with this event

ning-September 21, will he held
in the grove near JolmClaggitt’s
two miles north of town. Every
effort is being made to make the
celebration a great event. The |

sired, there being plenty of shade1
and good water. Hoarding tents I
will be on the grounds. Speak-
ing and music will furnish enter-
tainment. The corner stone will
he laid at 2 o'clock. Saturday af-
ternoon. September 22. the cere-

sion to the Five Civilized Tribes will not
hear applicants for enrollment as Cherokee
freodmen at any of the following appoint-
ments now advertised, viz:
Muldrow, tort Gibson, Bryor (’reek,
Welch. Bartlesville, Nowata, Oolagah,
Claremore, Catoosa, Chelsea, Talileipiah. |
