cation will be treated in strict confidence,
and your case will be diagnosed as care

Munyon’* Paw Paw Pills are unlilw
all other laxatives or cathartic*. The*
coax the liver into activity by gentl«
methods. They do not scour, they d«
not *ripe, they do not weaken, b«t thej
do start all the secretions of the livei
and stomach in a way that soon puti
these organs in a healthy condition anr*
corrects constipation. In my opinioi
constipation is responsible for most ail
mente. There are 26 feet of human
bowels, which is really a sewer pipe.
When this pipe becomes clogged th«
whole system becomes poisoned, caua
ing biliousness, indigestion and impurt
blood, which often produce rheumatism
and kidney ailments. No woman who
suffers with constipation or any livei
ailment can expect to have & clear
complexion or enjoy good health. II
I had my way I would prohibit the sals
of nine-tenths of the cathartics that ars
now being sold for the reason that they
soon destroy the lining of the stomach,
setting up serious forms of indigestion,
and so paralyze the bowels that they re-
fuse to act unless forced by strong
purgatives.
Munyon’s Paw Paw Pills are a tonio
to the stomach, liver and nerves. They
Invigorate instead of weaken; they en-
rich the blood Instead of Impoverish
It; they enable the stomach to get all
the nourishment from food that is put
Into it.
These pills contain no calomel, no
dope; they are soothing, healing and
stimulating. They school the bowels
to act without physic.

Madero Indicates His Probable Policy
—Is Liberal in Its Provisions
Mexico City.—"If I should be elect-
ed president Senor De La ilarra wll
be minister of foreign relations and
General Reyes will be minister of war
in my cabinet.” Thus spoke Madero
at Chapultepec Castle, where he
talked with President Do La Barra and
General Reyes. Both men have con-
sented to accept these portfolios.
The meeting was accidental. Made-
ro had been conferring with President
De La Barra about the political sit-
uation when General Reyes arrived.
Madero was asked to remain. Frank
discussion of the situation resulted.
General Reyes said, “It is true I am
going to be minister of war if Senor
Madero is elected. I am not going to
be a candidate for the presidency or
partlcipa^jJ^^he elections. A com-
mittee me to ask me to be
a candidate for-president, but j told
them I intend to be a member of
Madero's cabinet if he is elected. *To
offer myself as a candidate might
mean a confusion which w-ould pro-
duce anarchy and I can assure you
both President De La Barra, Senor
Madero and myself will work earnest-
ly and incessantly to prevent such a
contingency.”
Chadbourn, N. C.—In a letter from
this place, Mra. M. D. McPherson
■ays: “1 suffered fire years with aw-
ful pains. They grew worse, till I
would often faint. I could not walk
at all, for two or three days at a time,
and had an awful hurting in my side,
and headache, and backache I could
not do anything.
I gave up. and thought I would die,
but my husband said, ‘Let's try Car-
dul.' So I began and
helped me, and I could do my rooking,
and by the time the third bottle was
used, I could do ail my work.
The Gardul home treatment wll! do
more than you recommend it to do.
All the people around said I would
die, but thanks to Cardui, I was re-
lieved."
Cardut is composed of gentle-acting,
herb ingredients. Its action is mild
and natural, and it has no bad after-
effects, aB have many of the powerful
drugs sometimes recommended.
No other medicine or tonic has ex-
actly the same results as Gardul.
No other has the record of 50 years
of successful treatment of eases of
womanly weakness and disease.
Suppose you try it.

severe skin eruption. It was dermatitis
in its worst form. It started with a
slight eruption and would affect most
parts of his body, thighs, elbows,
chest, back and abdomen—and would
terminate in little pustules. The Itch-
ing and burning was dreadful and he
would almost tear his skin apart, try-
ing to get relief. 1 recommended all
the various treatments I could think
of and he spent about fifteen dollars
on prescriptions, but nothing seemed
to help him.
"In the meantime my wife, who
was continually suffering with a slight
skin trouble and who had been try-
ing different prescriptions and meth-
ods with my assistance, told me she
was going to get some of the Cuticura
Remedies and give them a fair trial.
But as I did not know much about
Cuticura at that time I was doubtful
whether It would help her. Her skin
would thicken, break and bleed, es-
pecially on the fingers, wrists and
arms. I could do nothing to relieve
her permanently. When she first ap-
plied the warm bath3 of Cuticura
Soap and applications of Cuticura
Ointment she saw a decided improve-
ment and in a few days she was com-
pletely cured.
"I lost no time in recommending
the Cuticura Remedies to Mr. -,
and this was two months ago. I told
him to wash with warm baths of the
Cuticura Soap and to apply the Cuti-
cura Ointment generously. Believe
me, from the very first day's use of
the Cuticura Remedies he was greatly
relieved and today he is completely
cured through their use. I have great
faith in the Cuticura Remedies and
shall always have a good word for
them now that I am convinced of
Iheir wonderful merits.” (Signed) B.

Should Report Tuberculosis Cases.
The National Association for the
Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis
says that the first requisite for a com-
prehensive campaign for the elimina-
tion of tuberculosis in a Btate or city
is well-enforced law requiring that
every living case of tuberculosis be re-
ported to the health authorities. Such
reporting is now required by law or
health regulation in 25 states, while
in 28 states and territories no provi-
sion whatever Is made for keeping rec-
ord of cases of this infectious disease.
Several cities in nonregistration
states, as for Instance, Chicago, Cleve-
land, St. Louis and New Orleans, have
local ordinances requiring that tuber-
culosis be reported. In all, there are
about 100 cities in the United States
which have ordinances of this nature.
