Miss Ruby Wiiisor of Hydro,
Okla., is here this week visiting
her sister, Mrs. E. C. Woods.
The Carter band and several
members of the Sentinel band
furnished music for the occasion.
Speeches were delivered by Mr.
Granville Jones, the Lyceum lec-
turer, and Mr. K. T. Henson and
Dr. Shadid of Carter. The
speeches were all fine, and the
home boys who attended speak
in especially glowing terms of
the speeches delivered by our
home town orators.
The large auditorium was fill-
ed with people and much enthu-
siasm was displayed by the big
audience.
