Mr. Koontz who lives 3 miles
west and 3 1-2 miles north of
Teoumseh had the misfortune to
loose hi9 house and furniture by
fire last week. Arther Gore who
is a friend of the Koontz family
learned of the loss and told a few
of his friends in this city about
it and they made up a purse of
$22.10 and presented it to Mr.
Koontz. The loss was a heavy
one as the house was a good farm
house a great deal of furniture,
clothing and bedding was burned.
The many friends of the family
will regret to learn of this loss.
