Annual School Meeting
The annual meeting of Sctool
District Consolidated Nor 50.
Township No. 8-9, Range No. 22,
County of Beckham, State of
Oklahoma, will be held in the
school house in said district on
the last Tuesday in March, 1924,
beginning at 2 F. M. and closing
at 4 P. M. on said date. If an
excess levy above five mills is
required to support the school
for the coming year it will be
voted upon at said annual meet-
ing on' said date.

Prospects Good For
Another Oil Test
Close To Town
A meeting of the farmers a-
round Carter was held here last
Friday night in the interest of
getting another oil test out on
the J. T. Copp farm just east of
town. Mr. Jack Pfifer and Mr.
Ray Stephens were present at
the meeting we are informed and
made the farmers a proposition
to put down the test if the farm-
ers will put up suffeient acreage.

doing well. Her husband. Mrs.
Robt. Ross and Dr Mitchell were
with her during the operation.
