a number of additions to the church.

Play will close the campaign Monday]
night, November 29th.
AT THE BAPTIST CHURCH

had two merer additions. We will have
six to baptize Sunday night. How good
the Lord is to his people. How faith-
ful to him we should be.
Our Sunday school is growing in in-
terest and nuanbe. We are very
much encohraged in our Funday school
work. The B. Y. P. U. is well attend-
ed and the young people's work is pro- j
grossing very nicely. A Junior B. Y.
P. U. will he organized Sunday. Our
singing, led by Miss Smith, is u good
ind interesting pun i our worship.
The preaching is well attended and the
members in general are becoming
more interested in clmrch work. May
the Lord hasten the day when all the
members of all our churches will reg-
ularly attend the Lord - house on the
Lord's day.

An Armenian lady wiho is selling I
different kinds of goods, mostly ladies'

Wednesday morning and related a very
interesting story concerning the treat-
ment of her people in the far east.
This lady was born and reared in I
Palestine and says that it has been al-
most unbearable for any one but a I
lurk to live there. The women are I
i dying there by the thousands for the
want of proper food and medical at-
tention. and tHat relatives an<^ (friends
in this country are giving them all
| the assistance they can. The Armen-1
inns seem to be a good religious, in-
dustrious and law abiding people.
