W. r. Brown and C. L. Holm-
berg were over from Charleston
Saturday.
We are informed that Chas.
Smith, son-in-law of Mrs. Anna
Downs, recently of this city,
died at the hospital after a pro-
tracted illness. The deceased re
sided at Medicine Lodge, Kans.,
and leaves a wife and two chil-
dren, a boy and a girl.
J. B. Cool, of Carmen, father
of C. R. Cool of this city, is here
visiting.
