A. L Durham, who has been work
ing on the Democrat since March, left

passed through Buffalo the tirst of the
week on his way to Oklahoma City to
attend the meeting of the State Com
mittee, which met there Wednesday.

County Treasurer of Harper couuty.
Htate of Oklahoma, to the following mim-
ed persons that the amount set opposite
tbnlr names Is the amount of the last
half of their personal property tax for
lllll. which Is by law past due. unpaid and
therefore delinquent. And the tax war-
rants will he placed in the hands of the
Sheriff on the 13th day of September, 1912.
for collection, as provided by law.
All the following named persons are
further notified that as provided by the
laws of Oklahoma, warrants will be plac-
ed In the hands of the Sheriff of Harper
county. directing aud commanding him lo
make levy upon the goods and chattels of
each of the said delinquents for the full
amount of nui.1 taxes, lawful interest
thereon, together with the lawful fees and
mileage for said --ollectlou, uml to make
all needful sales of all property so levied
upon as provided by law. and return the
said amounts to the County Treasurer of
Harper county, Oklahoma.
And tbut said warrauts shall be issued
ami delivered by said County Treasurer
to the said Sheriff, at the time and man-
ner provided by the laws of the state of
Oklahoma.
