Quite a large crowd of people
were in Brule last Saturday.
The merchants of Brule are
constantly buying new stocks of
goods to supply their increasing
trade.
Miss Mildred Downs tiled on
120 acres of land on the north
side of Buffalo creek, near Brule,
last Saturday.
It i» understood that Mrs.
Frances Miller will teach the
public schools at the Brule and
the Shane school houses for the
coming fall and winter.
A heavv rain fell here on la^t
Saturday morning and the pros-
pects for corn and general feed
crops are now all that the most
optimistic coaid expect.
Mrs. J. T. Hov favors her
brother, J. B, Sage, Delphos,
Kansas, with an annual subscrip-
