Election of State Party Officers
Sec. 50. All state officers the men-

Sec. 65. All public officers elected
upon the Socialist ticket shall be sub-
ject to the imperative mandate and
recall through the referendum. Any
. officer refusing to submit to such im-
perative mandate or recall, shall have
bis resignation filed with the proper
authority and be expelled front the
party. He shall not again be eligible
for nomination for any public office
till ho shall have been a member In
good standing in the party for a per-
iod of five consecutive years.
Party Policy.
Sec. 56. The National Platform ot
the Socialist Party shall be the decla-
ration of the party, and no county or
district organization shall under any
circumstances fuse, combine or com-
promise with any other political party
or organ.zation; nor shall any candi-
date of the party accept any nomina-
tion or indorsement from any other
party or political organization, and
the platforms of all county and dis-
trict organization must be in conform-
ity with the state platform.
Sec. 67. No local or county organiza
tion shall petition or beg for any lo-
cal or state legislation from any auth-
ority whatever, but the party may i
avail itself of the constitutional right
of filing initiative and referendum pe
titions upon proposed legislation or
constitutional amendments.
