Jess Beasley was in town

Charlie Lane started back
to Missouri in something of a
hurry last Thurday. He found

land if lie was the head of a
family and said lie would be
able to file when he returned.
Homer Caslcr made final
proof on his claim at this off-

worth and James Blattenburg
were his witnesses.
Several of the people from
across the Beaver were in
Woodward Monday as witnes-
es in the contest against Rev.
Burk. It was reported that
the contestant failed to ap-
pear.

Joe Beer was in Woodward
on business Monday.
The protracted meeting at
Missouri Center is still going
on. though there is a lot of
work to be done to get them to
work together.
