of the M. E. Church
Rejoicing in the fact that our fair state recognizes
the cause of temperance as one of its fundamental
principles of government ami that our great church is
a leading factor in this cause; desiring to lead and
labor that our standards may ever be exalted; we
recognize and recommend the following as means and
standards in our onward march.
First. We commend and endorse the work of the
W. C. T. L1., Anti-Saloon League and all other recog-
nized movements for the spreading of this cause. We
recommend that our churches open their doors to the
