When you hear any fellow go-

that the Secretary of the County
Election Board used.or attempted
to use, any undue methods in
collusion with anybody or in any
manner to prevent any person on
any ticket from filing within the
time limit prescribed by law, you
can put in in your pipe and smoke
it that that fellow is a liar, pure

The campaign for governor of
this great commonwealth is
growing warm So far not a can-
didate for governor has Deen in
this city to speak or meet the vo-
ters, but our farmers and busi-
ness men are busy studying the
different platforms of the eight
candidates and they are thor-
oughly posted.
Judge J. B. A. Robertson oi
Chandler seems to be the favor-
ite nere and he will carry a big
vote in Jackson, Kiowa and Till-
mm counties.
he seerns to be conducting a
g od, clean campaign. His slo-
g .n —‘ Honesty,Efficiency, Econ-
omy, Harmony, Sanity and De-
cency”—is being taken up by the
farmers and right thinking bus-
iness men and professional men,
and they are passing the glad
tidings along.
Judge Robertson is fighting no
man, party or clique. He has no
paid mud-slingers, and his race
is made in the open arena where
all may see.
i he democratic party is too big
to allow a few disgruntled office
seekers to wreck it. The first
time you hear some aspirant for
office cussing the democratic par-
ty in Oklahoma, ask him what
the trouble is, arid nine times out
of ten, he will tell you he is mad
at some other candidate
with Robertson.
itobertson is a man who will be
able to unite all divisions in the
party, and he will be able to lead
Vile party to a grand and glori-
ous victory i i the fall election.
