Misses Cora and Bertha
Shirley left Saturday for Al-
va where they will attend the
summer school. We wish the
girls well.
Francis Buchannan is visit-
ing his uncle Geo, Buchanan
and wife.
The childrens day exercises
were well attended at Mt. Ol-
ive. The folks brought well-
filled baskets and the dinner
was enjoyed by all. The pro-
gram rendered in the after-
noon was fine.
John Leist and wife were in
our burg Sunday.
Flora Blair and Will Bar-
nett attended church at the
square Sunday night.
Ode Dale, of Pleasanton, la.
visited his aunt, Mrs. Mary
Dale Sunday.
Mr. Hayes and family spent
Sunday at Menifitqds.

rate the school house for chil-

The Oklahoman says that
while there were over 50000
in attendance at Bliss there
were no games of chance what-
ever on the grounds, no intox-
ication, no grafting and no
boisterious out butbreaks a
any time. Would this have
been posible anywhere in the

The Tangier Citizen
changed from a 4-column quar-
to to a 6 fofio last week. It
is a good move and makes the
Citizen a much better looking
paper beside being easier han-

While Josie Blakesley and
Rev. Smith were out driving
Sunday evening they ran into
the guv wire to the derrick at
C. A. Hutchinson’s well, pul-
ling the derrick over onto the
buggy and hurting Josie bad-
ly. She is better at this writ-
ing, however.
Willie Barrett and Edgar
Bouse will hit the road for
the Kansas harvest fields next
Sunday.
