In the great town of Lifeopoli*
A justly famoiis school
Exists, it is attended by
Tim wi e man and the fool;
The master is severe and stim.
But one, however dense,
May learn of him; Wlm would,, t
if
Taught by Experience.
One never is too old to learn
At this academy;
And almost everything is taught- ^
At least, it seems to he.
No hooks ate necessary here;
One learns by failure; hence.
Well educated, those who ve been
Taught by Experience.
No holidays are grunted here;
The tasks are hard t<> do,
But those who their diplomas win
Obtain the larger view ;
Their hearts with Love and
Charity
Are filled as recompense,
And on their sheepskins one may
read;
School of Experience.”
