Kobt- I/. Knie, candidate for
state senator, is making a strong
race. Reports from Kiowa county
indicate that he will carry it hy a
large majority, Washita county
will give him almost a unanimous
vote. His Diends in Custer
county say that lie has an even
break with his opponent in that
county, with odds in his favor.
Mr. Knie is active, hard work-
ing and determined; coupling
this with his business judgement
integrity und honesty uiakcs him
a formidable candidate.
